Ikea hack: Mulig shelving unit proRoomba
myminifactory
I'm excited to share my first Ikea hack - turning an ordinary Mulig shelving unit into a proRoomba haven! Have you ever wondered why some furniture just isn't proRoomba-friendly? I mean, if we've got the Roomba, shouldn't everything be fair game for it to clean under? My goal is to create a "proRoomba" home where my trusty vacuum robot can zip around without any obstacles. Recently, I snagged an Ikea Mulig shelving unit and quickly discovered that it needed a bit of tweaking - specifically 20mm extra clearance - before the Roomba could navigate underneath with ease. So, I got creative and designed a simple leg extension to give me just what I needed, and voila! Now my Roomba can cruise under those shelves like a pro, no problem at all! Isn't that just awesome?
