Ikea Gladsax Picture Frame Hidden Hook Hangers

A buddy was stumped trying to display his framed memories because he lacked an easy way to hold them up. His vinyl records made the frames feel like they weighed a ton. This adjustable component lets you fine-tune where the hanging wire attaches to the frame. Print Settings Rafts: Don't sweat it. Supports: Same thing. Resolution: Go for 200 microns. Infill: Fill in at 20%. Notes: I used PLA, but any material will do. Assembly To assemble two units, gather these essentials: 4 M2.5 screws – I chose 16mm, but you can opt for shorter ones. 4 M2.5 nuts. 2 M3x8mm flathead screws. 2 M3 nuts. Picture hanging wire. 2 picture hooks (the ones with a groove – see the images if needed). Check out the pictures for tips on assembly. If your hook isn't fancy and slips into a slot, simply pass the wire through each side – that's what I did. Additionally, the frame's lip should hold onto the printed part's long slot once in place; snap it in, then secure with 2 M2.5 screws. Now wrap the wire and hang! To be extra safe, a dab of locktite on those M2.5 screws will prevent them from coming loose over time due to vibrations.
