IKEA Gladom bottom tray frame clip
thingiverse
The IKEA Gladom is a budget-friendly steel side table that's incredibly suitable for IKEAhacking. Its top serving tray isn't attached directly to the frame, making it easy to swap out for any object of your preference that measures exactly 44cm in diameter. In fact, if you want to keep things cohesive, the Skala wood serving tray from IKEA fits perfectly as a drop-in replacement, giving it a chic midcentury-modern vibe. However, you wouldn't want your original Gladom tray to go to waste. Simply print four of these easy-to-make frame clips and you can rest your original tray on the bottom cross of the frame. The clips have a raised edge that helps keep the tray centered and in place. These clips were printed in flexible TPU95, but they should still fit onto the frame if you use PLA or other non-flexible materials. Note: The wood serving tray shown is actually 45cm wide and was trimmed down in the four corners to fit into the frame.
