IKEA Förnuft Flatware tray

IKEA Förnuft Flatware tray

IKEA flatware comes in attractive little trays made of cardboard, but they don't last very long because they're not durable enough. They don't offer a same-sized plastic or wood/bamboo version either. So I created a replica using PLA with the help of Sketchup. This tray is specifically designed for the Förnuft 24 piece set, which is widely available in different regions: 1 fork, 2 spoons, and 1 knife (6 sets). Due to its large size, it couldn't be printed out in one piece, so I had to bisect it and glue the two parts together. Print Settings: Printer: JG Aurora A3 Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Notes: I printed it with 2 perimeters (.8mm sides, top and bottom) for added strength. It doesn't require any supports and can be a challenge to remove from the print bed due to its large base area. Print the 'complete' stl file if it fits on your print bed (22L x 14W x 3.75H cm). Alternatively, you can print the 'A' and 'B' parts and glue them together for assembly.
