We have an arch window above a tall rectangular window, with a large mullion between the two. Since the top of the window area was arched, I decided to mount the blind in front of the mullion, below the arch window. The Ikea blind includes mounts for top-mounting, and this design allowed for a side mount. The bracket has a cutout to allow for button and battery access.
