A buddy sent me a 5kg filament spool and I was stuck, so I hit Ikea and scored the FINTORP system they use - it's pretty cool. I figured this would be super useful, so I whipped up an adaptor that fits the spool on the tube and added an end holder that can be popped off to swap out the roll. This should work with any filament spool you've got lying around. If you want to get creative and design your own, the diameter for the steel rod is 16.28mm.
