IKEA Fan

The IKEA milk frother is an absolute steal for the price. A compact little electric motor with battery compartment, switch and shaft comes standard. I just had to find a practical use for it. Simply print, assemble, turn on and enjoy the refreshing coolness! There are five fans visible in the main image. The bottom left two are my top recommendations - if you're unsure, try the five-bladed fan instead. The other three are variations, except for the top right one which was an experiment using thing 4941 that didn't quite work out. I opted for simplicity and ease of printing over more complex designs, despite their fancier propellers. However, this approach doesn't apply if you print the fan blades at angles below 45 degrees. It does tend to wobble a bit when it's in motion, but it spins faster when held loosely - which is quite strange. My next projects with this might involve using it for propulsion on both wheeled and aquatic toys! I want to emphasize that my name has nothing to do with IKEA.
