IKEA FAKTUM Rationell Renforcement de l'attache face porte (Drawer Door reinforcement)

I recently assembled a FAKTUM IKEA kitchen with Rationell drawers in July 2013. The bottom drawer, which supported the entire height of the lower cabinet door, had to be adjusted regularly and held up until now. Note that the problem occurs less frequently on lower doors, as the lever arm is weaker. However, since children pull down much more than towards the door, the high rod fixation in the drawer made of a wooden screw fixed into the door finally weakened the door, causing the wood to break apart. I had to use wood filler to be able to reattach the high rod. Important precision on the non-found IKEA drawer model, with historical notices and spare parts only dating back to December 2013, where it appears that the defect was corrected since the Rationell model from December 2013 now has a plastic screw instead of the wooden screw of 2.5/3 mm of my model. Having identified a weakness on these drawers, I took advantage of my early days in 3D modeling to create this piece that comes and complements existing parts by attaching to the high rod and covering existing parts to create two additional points of fixation between the high rod and the door, reducing the lever arm. The first repaired drawer with these pieces works, leaving four others to be reinforced... But I wanted to share the piece in case you experience the same problem.
