Based on RyandGarrison's revised brackets and the latest SmartRapCore files now available on Onshape, I'm confident that the brackets will fit snugly within the box, rather than perching precariously on top. The design allows for printed plastic pulleys to be installed around the 608zz, while also incorporating a removable Z-axis, just like the newer SmartRapCore. As a result, this build saves quite some space on the X axis compared to the original. I'm currently in the process of completing this build, and some aspects might not be entirely accurate yet, but it's getting there. I'll follow up with more details and a comprehensive build guide once my build is finished. Take a look at the photo for a glimpse of my work-in-progress. In addition, I utilized an Ikea 'Eket' box that perfectly accommodates a printer with these parts. It's far superior to designing your own enclosure from scratch. You can find more information about this fantastic product here: http://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/catalog/products/20334597/. Update: 8th October 2017 I've completed this build some time ago, but haven't had a chance to write up the details yet. However, I've updated all files and included a plethora of pictures that should allow you to deduce how it's constructed... Files with a "vX" (for example, v7) in the filename are designed by me, while all others are taken from the projects listed as source (with proper credit given where credit is due).
