Ikea Dual Monitor Stand

Ikea Dual Monitor Stand

I designed this project using an extra IKEA table leg for my desk. The LG mount is specifically designed to fit LG 27MP59G 27" monitors. I included a VESA mount that will bolt to the arm attachments - although I haven't tested it yet. Here's the hardware used: 1. An IKEA ADILS Table Leg - https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/adils-leg-black-70217973/ 2. A 1-5/16" closet rod - I used wood, but metal would work just as well. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-72-in-x-1-5-16-in-Heavy-Duty-Oak-Closet-Pole-HD-0015-6OK/205561104 3. 7 M5x12 bolts 4. 7 M5 nuts 5. 14 M5 washers 6. 4 M4x16 bolts 7. 4 M4 nuts 8. 8 M4 washers 9. 4 1" wood screws - unless you're using a metal rod, then use something else. I could have just bought a cheap stand, but this project is better and more fun. The finished product is really solid so far. You can technically configure these parts to make a huge array of monitors, and you can use the spare space on the leg to attach other devices (like webcams, lights, speakers etc.). As always with my designs - use them at your own risk. I'm not responsible for you breaking your monitor, or table, or yourself...
