The clips comprise a top hanger and lower angled clip that enable light to shine efficiently on the build platform just under the moving axis blocks, providing the most direct light. Each clip is held together with an M3 10mm bolt and nut (I had plenty left over from my UM build) or simply substitute with a 3mm wide zip-tie. The assembled clip hangs from the top of your bot and locks underneath, ensuring the bar is held securely all the while not damaging your bot's frame nor requiring you to place adhesives that will fail over time nor drilling additional holes in your body.
