We all know that Ikea products are really cool and fit in almost every situation perfectly. However, real-life situations often don't turn out as expected, as I discovered when attempting to install the Kvartal curtain track rail on my wall, which had a small ridge making it impossible to secure the rail properly. I designed this small adapter to fill the gap between the backplate and the wall, allowing me to mount the curtain rail securely. Using my Ultimaker-2, I printed four of these adapters and successfully installed the curtain rail on the wall. The design is intended to fill a 14.5mm gap; if you need to fill a different size gap, simply scale this design in the z-axis direction only to achieve the desired height using Cura or your preferred slicing software. For example, if the gap measures 8mm, scale the design by 55% in the z-direction to get the required fit.
