IKEA Chair Base Wheel Insers

Most IKEA chairs come equipped with inserts that fit snugly into the base of the chair, allowing users to easily insert the wheels. However, these inserts on my RENBERGET chair proved to be quite fragile and prone to breaking, causing the wheels to tilt and bend in a matter of no time. Instead of returning to the store to obtain a replacement part that might suffer from a similar fate, I swiftly designed and 3D printed some new inserts that completely filled the inside of the leg, utilizing a few spacers beneath it to eliminate any remaining gaps. As a result, the wheels now glide smoothly with no discernible wobble whatsoever. To replicate this fix, simply print as many inserts as needed and corresponding spacers in the desired size. If your particular setup requires a custom spacer size, you can adjust the Z-axis to accommodate it.
