Unfortunately, some of the Ikea cabinets (and likely not just Ikea) feature walls with honeycomb infill that causes hinges to malfunction properly. To solve this issue, I'm utilizing a reinforcement plate where screws pass through the wall. Two versions are available: one has the screw head exposed and nuts hidden inside, while the other version positions the nuts externally.
