Ikea / Brio electric train with geared drive wheels

<p>This is model 1 of 3 designs inpired by others out there. For this one I used a rechargeable battery from an electric toothbrush with usb charging point. Similar ones are used on bike lights sold on Ebay which could be adapted. I wanted to try to get all wheels the same diameter using gears and this added an extra visual element to the design. Drive is from a dual axle miniature electric motor and gearbox sold on Ebay and other sites. The top can be glued on once the wiring is complete. Add a weight to the front end to and it will climb inclines. Rubber band tyres in grooved wheels were used for increased friction. Print with support for axles and body upright.
