This is a bespoke replacement component. The built-in locking mechanism on my Ikea window shades malfunctioned. Consequently, I required a solution to repair the drawstring and prevent the shades from collapsing once raised. When I raise the shades, I simply insert the knob into this device. Problem solved. You can modify the dimensions in the .scad file if you need slightly different specifications.
