The lid should be printed in flexible plastic, and the sprinkler head can be made from any material you prefer. You will likely need to drill out the holes after printing with a 1mm drill bit. A 1/16" hole is equivalent to 1.5mm - probably too large. The Lid V2 fits snugly but curves upward in the center. The Lid V3 has a slightly more relaxed fit, although it remains untested.
