Our friends in Älmhult occasionally update the design of their incredibly popular Billy bookshelves.\r\n\r\nOne change is that the shelf fixing holes on the sides are now roughly 3.2mm in diameter, where they used to be about 5mm. It's unclear whether a Swedish accountant determined smaller holes would be less expensive to drill or if a designer thought they were less noticeable, but this is what happened.\r\n\r\nAs a result, if you purchase an additional shelf for an older bookcase, the pegs won't fit properly. \r\n\r\nThese pegs replicate the older pegs for use on older bookcases.
