I recently experienced a slight issue with my IKEA Beddinge sleeping couch when one of the plastic caps underneath that hold the lats in place suddenly burst open due to its weakened end giving way. Luckily, I was able to quickly prop up this part and replace it with a new one which fits perfectly snugly into place. The new cap is significantly stronger than all the other parts on my couch and has been functioning flawlessly despite being used daily.
