Replacement of the cap on a 0.5-liter aluminum bottle purchased at IKEA requires a specific thread size, M26x1.5. To ensure a secure fit, an additional silicon seal with internal and external diameters of 26mm and 34mm respectively, and a height of 3mm is necessary. Fortunately, the seal used in this instance was sourced from the original cap itself.
