IKEA Alex multiple inserts - tiny edition
prusaprinters

Why?

I love printingbuddy's idea of creating inserts for the IKEA Alex, however the smallest 1x1 insert left to much dead space above when you needed to store tiny things inside (e.g. M2 washers, unless you have 1000 of them..). Scaling the inserts down didn't help because the perimeters got too flimsy and the 9mm text labelling area wasn't 9mm after scaling..

Features:

Completey compatible to printingbuddy's original design, two times 0,5 makes 1, and three times 0,66 indeed makes a depth of 2 ;-)

Requirements:

Use any material you like (no.. not Ninjaflex…)

Using a 0,4 nozzle I recommed to set perimeter width to 145-155%, hereby printing the walls with two lines, raising stability and cutting down printing time significantly

Tune your overhang performance, print with the handle oriented in x direction, otherwise the overhanging part will alway be in the slipstream of one cooling duct..

Enjoy, comments and critics are always appreciated :-)
