Ikea ADILS desk legs clamp system - Theta Mount
thingiverse
This is a compact mounting system I designed to attach various items to my desktop's IKEA ADILS legs. A standard setup involves two clamps joined by two M4 flathead screws and hex nuts. I suggest using 20-30mm screws to secure it. I employed approximately 40% support in the design, resulting in a sturdy structure. The radius of the clamp is slightly reduced due to the grooves, enabling it to grip the leg tightly even when overtightening the screws. I've had positive results with PLA's flexibility in such cases, although I haven't conducted long-term tests on this print. I recommend printing the hook on the side for added support. The mount I created is straightforward with precise tolerances and should fit easily inside the clamp's port. I'm referring to it as the Theta Mount, and I plan to design more accessories for it in the future. I've included a small file containing just the mount for your customization needs.
