Ikea 365+ Dual Spool Dry Box

This is a dry box tray for use with Ikea 365+ sealed containers, specifically designed to hold two one-kilogram spools with minimal wasted space. I prefer using multiple smaller boxes that can be easily moved around over large, heavy boxes filled with many spools. The design of this system is quite elaborate and takes a considerable amount of time to print, but the end result looks great and performs well, so I'm pleased overall. The fittings used in this design are available [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4493746). ## Bill of Materials ### Printed Parts: * 1x Desiccant Tray * 1x Spool Tray * 4x Outside Rollers * 4x Inside Rollers ### Purchased Parts: * 1x [Ikea 365+ 10.5L Container, Item 792.767.60](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/ikea-365-food-container-with-lid-rectangular-plastic-s79276760/) * 1x Mini Digital Hygrometer * 4x 6mm OD x 70mm Length Rods * 8x 608 Bearings * 6 to 10 [Desiccant Packets](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7SHG0L) ## Printing I print the trays at a layer height of 0.2mm, and the rollers separately at 0.15mm, face down with the hole pointed up. These parts are designed to fit on smaller printers with a print area of 180x180. You may need to adjust your print settings to accommodate the spool tray. I print these on a Prusa Mini and have to remove the skirt and use custom support enforcers for the curved bottom corners. ## Assembly There are four rollers, two for each spool, which install into the "humps" in the printed spool tray with a bearing on either end. Each roller consists of an inner and outer part, where the outer part is pressed onto the rod and passed through the bearings. Press on an inner roller when sliding through the rod. This may take some force depending on your print settings. To assemble the rollers, press the hygrometer into the square hole in the front of the desiccant tray. Depending on your hygrometer, you may need to trim a bit of the hole to allow it to fit. Then, place your desiccant packets in the desiccant tray and press both trays into the container. ## Filament PTFE Fittings I've designed [these PTFE fittings](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4493746) for use with the box.
