Ike:Core - 3D printer based on CoreXY

Ike:Core, a 3D printer built on core{X,Y} technology, is the culmination of over a year's worth of design and research by Jeff, a programmer with no prior fabricating experience. Inspired by a vimeo video, he embarked on this journey to learn about 3D printing and create his own printer. Jeff aimed to use off-the-shelf parts while maintaining the core{X,Y} design. Key components include SK12 linear supports, SC12LUU linear blocks, and 12mm chromed hardened steel rods. He sourced reliable parts from trusted websites like hotends.com, panucatt.com, qu-bd.com, and openbuilds.com, while finding remaining parts on eBay or Aliexpress. The build process started in July 2013 and concluded in April 2014, with the printer's first successful print showcased in attached photos. Jeff expresses satisfaction with the results and plans to continue refining the printer. He thanks the core{X,Y} team and John D. for their support throughout the project.
