IJN Daihatsu Class Landing Craft (1/300)

The Daihatsu class landing craft was a highly successful landing craft design used by the Japanese during WWII. It could transport a single light tank, 70 men or 10 tons of cargo. Judging from period photos, most of these craft did not mount fixed weaponry (at least when the photos were being taken). They seemed to have been defended by a pair of LMGs issued to the crew, though some mounted between 1 and 3 25mm cannons. This is the first time I have included human figures in my designs. They are rather crude, but seem to work at 6mm scale. Files include: Daihatsu Class Landing Craft - The empty landing craft with no armament. Daihatsu Class Landing Craft Armed - The same craft with one 25mm cannon mount added. Daihatsu Class Landing Craft with Troops - An unarmed craft with troops on board. Daihatsu Class Landing Craft Armed with Troops - A fully equipped invasion force.
