Two tSNE plots of the same underlying data are presented here, generated during a high-dimensional data workshop led by Rebecca Ihrie and Jonathan Irish. This first plot showcases all cells from an example AML dataset provided by Jonathan Irish, created using every marker available. By contrast, the second plot excludes CD34, CD38, and CD117 markers, which had a noticeable gradient profile across the entire plot. As a result, excluding these markers increased the number of distinct islands visible in the tSNE plot.
