I carefully flexed the fastener tabs to 90 degrees and subsequently screwed the mesh snugly into place within the palm area. Using tiny, sharp self-tapping screws, I managed to secure it firmly in position. Subsequently, I heated the mesh evenly with a gas lighter until it softened sufficiently but avoided burning. As soon as it was pliable, yet still cool to touch, I used the back of a metal spoon to expand it upward and create ample space for slipping one's hand inside comfortably. Several reheats later, I successfully formed it around the recipient's hand, ensuring a perfect fit without compromising comfort. Crucially, do not apply heat to the mesh while it is wrapped around the hand; instead, wait until it has cooled enough to be handled before shaping it to its final form. Additionally, I made sure to allow for sufficient foam padding to prevent any discomfort during wear.
