IGUS RJMP-01-08 Dual Bearing Block (replaces SCS8LUU)
thingiverse
This is a dual bearing block for the Igus RJMP-01-08 DryLin R Solid Plastic Bearing, 8 mm ID. The Geeetech Prusa i3x has the SCS8LUU for Y axis. Anyone who has purchased the Igus RJMP-01-08 knows that dimensions are not exactly the same as LM8UU linear bearings. The Igus RJMP-01-08 is slightly wider and slightly longer, making it impossible to use in existing SCS8LUU blocks. This block features the same hole pattern as the SCS8LUU. No drilling required. It should be a drop-in replacement for your printer's Y-Axis. Success stories using these blocks: You will need 4 M4 screws, any length between 10mm-20mm. 4 M4 nuts. 1 5/8 internal snap ring. Unfortunately, the SC8UU has two internal snap rings, but neither can be used since they are too small for the new block. A convenient alternative is to use http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2103292 instead of purchasing the 5/8 internal snap ring to hold bearing in place.
