This is a custom-designed bearing block tailored specifically for the Igus RJMP-01-08 Solid Plastic Bearing, boasting an 8 mm ID. Many printer enthusiasts rely on the SC8UU Bearing Block for LM8UU Linear Bearings, but I've crafted a unique solution that eliminates the need for cumbersome internal snap rings. To create this innovative design, I made the block symmetrical and divided it in half. Additionally, I carefully modeled the threads for the screws directly into the block to ensure secure fastening. By using longer screws, they grip firmly within the plastic, guaranteeing a sturdy assembly. For successful printing, you'll need to fabricate two copies of the provided .stl files per bearing. The Fusion360 source file is conveniently included for further modifications and refinements.
