Igus Block For AM8

Igus Block For AM8

thingiverse

These are custom bearing blocks I designed specifically for my AM8 printer's igus bearings, allowing me to fine-tune the pressure by adjusting the top M3 screws. When installing the M4 nuts, be cautious due to their tight fit; you might need to gently heat them to ensure a smooth installation. My printer handled them well, but keep in mind that each machine is unique. These blocks are longer than standard Anet A8 units and may collide with the acrylic frame. Also, consider your X belt holder: if it's not the stock one, the belt might not fit between the blocks due to their size. I'm currently working on an alternative design that should accommodate most printers.
