This device converts my Barda Jarrex lightsaber into a display piece that illuminates the environment around it by incorporating a flashlight inside. It fits seamlessly with existing design of the lightsaber and effectively adds an illumination function. The key to achieving this lies in the specific type of flashlight utilized, namely the super-cheap Nine LED Flashlights from Harbor Freight, which are often offered for free upon purchase. A standard three-and-one-half by one and one-quarter inch miniature flashlight is precisely what you'll need. For reference, the item's website is http://www.harborfreight.com/3-12-in-9-led-mini-flashlight-69111.html. To seamlessly integrate this modification into your existing Barda Jarrex lightsaber, a few adjustments are necessary. Initially, you will need to drill a small hole in the pommel of the lightsaber to accommodate the push stick's protrusion at its uppermost point. Afterward, carefully install the flashlight within the grip area facing directly toward the emitter for maximum illumination. As an added precautionary measure, ensure that you detach and discard the rubber button covering from the flashlight's front. Doing so will allow the push tube's bottom surface to perfectly secure itself against the back of the flashlight, minimizing any possibility of loose alignment or separation during handling. The next step in this straightforward process is simply sticking all components together. Upon completion, you'll have yourself an extraordinary and versatile functional light source that offers not only its standard operating characteristics as a fully capable lightsaber, but now with enhanced functionality of a radiant light for both ambient space lighting purposes. Printing Information - Printer used: 3D Printing Fidget. Refers to printing conditions employed. Rafts were set as No and Supports were included because it seemed they would have an advantage on a model such as this, despite there being other methods for printing these pieces that didn't need them so heavily. The parts needed in order of sequence printed from front of printer was: The top half Push Stick (1-12, Top Part) -> bottom portion and finally the lower back push stick portion and push tube at a lower priority level for it as shown above but still important to its assembly. After printing, simply move onto applying paint as your next step.
