The Church of Santo Domingo in Úbeda was founded during the time of Fernando III (13th century) although its Gothic-Mudejar style is more characteristic of late 15th-century architecture. The southern entrance, above the loggia, was carved by local master Diego de Alcaraz sometime between 1522 and 1525. The northern entrance must have been carved in the early decades of the 17th century. The tower was constructed in 1702.
