Igaro D2 case UPDATE: Igaro Lid V1 is designed for a direct plug-in of a USB-C cable. This case has been crafted to make the Igaro D2 as weather-resistant as possible. The D2 unit itself is not waterproof, so I've designed the case with the goal of keeping it safe from the elements. The D2 is 'locked' into place and won't rattle around inside. The lid and base push together in a very snug fit to keep the weather out. It may take a bit of effort to pull them apart again. The USB-C to USB adapter is the sacrificial component that's exposed to the elements, making it cheaper to replace if needed than to replace the D2. There's a link below to the adapter I've designed the case around. The D2 can be inside the case and siliconed closed with the power lead and the USB-C adapter inserted later through the lid. This snug fit makes it as weather-resistant as possible. A small amount of silicone can be applied around the power lead and the USB-C adapter to make it even more weather-resistant. Note: Make sure that the heatshrink on the power lead is not too far down on the connector, or it will stop the connector from going through the lid. 3 Models - 18-20 grams The lid fits all three models. Igaro Base: For bag enclosure or it can be attached to the frame with adhesive velcro. Igaro Base V1: For zip tying to 30-40mm tubing. Igaro Base V2: For zip tying to 20-25mm tubing.
