This is an IFÖ toilet seat hinge replacement part, corresponding to original part number IFÖ 91041. The design was created by taking precise measurements of the original component using a vernier caliper. To enhance durability, several modifications were made to the original design. Printing this part can be challenging due to its intricate details and complexity. However, experience has shown that printing it in a horizontal orientation with 70% infill density in PLA results in a strong and satisfactory outcome. ABS prints often require extensive support structures, which can be difficult to manage. To ensure a smooth installation process, it is recommended to warm the printed PLA part using a hairdryer before inserting it into the toilet seat.
