iFlight XL5 V2 Micro Runcam Mounting Plate
thingiverse
I needed a camera mount for my new RunCam Sparrow 2 Pro micro FPV camera, but my iFlight XL5 frame only really accommodates mini cameras. Most other mounts on Thingiverse seemed to use the frame standoffs, which I didn't really like. I prefer having those cf side-panels around the camera. This mounting plate fits into the bottom of the frame, allowing you to screw the RunCam mounting plate to the topside of the bottom frame body. The plate was a very tight fit with my print settings and stayed in place after I pressed it on. I printed this mount in ABS at maximum infill. PLA or TPU will probably not be strong enough for this application. It took only about 8 minutes to print. After printing, I hit the mounting holes with my Dremel tool just a tiny bit using a 1/16th" bit, probably no more than 1/16th" deep. Only go in enough to allow the mounting screws to bite. I used the longer, skinnier mounting screws that came with my Sparrow.
