iFlight Strider V2 canopy
thingiverse
I just uploaded the final version in TPU and it's working amazingly well. I'll post a build video of the quad I'm using it for soon if people are interested. Version 3: ==================== File: (Strider_V2_canopy_TSC6_1.stl) Completed: -Modified the bottom screws that hold the canopy to house M3 6mm standoffs. The fit is very snug, but I would still glue the standoff in place. -Rounded off some sharp edges -Re-sized the camera holes a bit -Moved the HD camera strap holes closer to the "walls" To Do: -Develop a reliable camera angle locking system... -add a simple spacer to lift the HD camera slightly so it can sit flush against the top Version 2: ==================== File: (TSC5.stl) Completed: -Added protection for the camera lens -Added holes for HD camera strap and VTX zip tie -Rounded some corners and improved the print experience. No supports are needed; just print as is. -Modified the FPV camera "mount" so that you can use normal short screws to attach the camera. The screw heads are hidden inside the canopy. To Do: -Modify the bottom screws that hold the canopy, to house M3 6mm standoffs -Stress test Version 1: ==================== File: (TSC3.stl) I tried to make the canopy a bit easier to print and also changed the camera holder to fit a standard size HS1177 camera. You can fit an AIO board, small Rx, VTX, and Camera inside the pod. The ESCs need to go on under the arms. To Do: -Add protection for the camera lens -Add holes for zip ties to hold the VTX -Add holes for a HD camera strap -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please feel free to join in on the development. I'm trying to keep the design as easy to print as possible.
