These protective arm covers are specifically designed for the iFlight SL5 frame. If your current motor mounting screws are barely sufficient without the armor, you might need to switch to longer ones. However, if you're working with TPU material, you can tighten those screws quite a bit more to compress it securely. Just be aware that over-tightening could cause the printed part to warp slightly.
