iFlight iX3 - VTX Pigtail Mount
thingiverse
This piece offers a 20-degree back-angled mounting hole where an SMA pigtail can be screwed on, pushed up from below. As a bonus, it also features a rear-facing flat-edge where my LED strip and buzzer are attached. Designed to press-fit over the vertical support struts on a iFlight iX2 Lite V3 frame, this part was created specifically for that purpose. This frame is available at https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H96PQWQ The top bracket of the frame appears to have a mounting hole, but it's too small for SMA. Instead, this piece provides an alternative solution. A soft mallet and block of wood may be required to press this part in place, depending on print settings and tolerances. On 7/6/2019, I added an .stl file for a new version with channels for antennas, set apart at 33 degrees. This allows for better antenna placement, shielding from motor strikes, and a stack for shrinking tubing the antennas in place. Note that this won't work with all antennas, so it's included as an additional model only.
