iFlight DC5 Titan HD Drone Parts
thingiverse
Two pieces I made for the DC5 titan frame kit. The front arm will serve as a temporary fix while I wait for my other carbon fiber arms to show up, but it gets me back up in the air. I'm still not sure on the durability, but I printed the front boomerang out of PETG. Instead of press nuts like the original arms, you press fit 4 M3 nuts into these printed arms and they are good to go. The second part is a slightly changed air unit cage. Pretty much the same as the original, but I tried to move the air unit back 2mm in order to make use of shorter MMCX to SMA adapters. This part needs to be printed out of TPU, I used 75 Shore A ninjaflex for my prints. You can mirror the part on the slicer to get the full set. I used 0.2mm layers for both parts. To strengthen the arms, I printed with 6 top and bottom layers, 4 perimeters, and 80% infill. I printed the cage pieces with stock top and bottom layers, 3 perimeters, and 15% infill but that shouldn't matter much.
