IFA W 50 LA/A
thingiverse
In the former East Germany, the IFA W50 was a truck used in almost all areas of the national economy. It was also used by the armed forces of East Germany. There were two versions, which differed in wheelbase. Unlike civilian versions, military W 50s had a roof hatch. This was intended for leading marching columns. The model (still in development) is meant to represent a W 50 LA/A. The base model was the W 50 L, which was extensively modified. This was necessary because it can be printed and edited with simple means, such as Thinkercad. Please note that I am an absolute beginner when it comes to creating and editing 3D printing templates. Update: First draft of the floor plate for the driver's cab Update: First draft of the EWZ crates Update: Fuel tank with battery, regulator hatch Update: Air tank (consists of four parts: two air tank holders and two air tanks) Update: Rear section suitable for 3mm LEDs - three pieces per side (turn signals, taillight, brake light) Update: Wheel for front axle - suitable for WPL/JJRC axles (couplers) Update: Canister holder for two 20-liter canisters in two versions Update: Small EWZ box (located between the protective panel and fuel tank), tow strap guide for front bumper and mirrors set. For securing the mirrors, 1.0 mm copper wire is recommended. Three mirrors are required. Update: The rear bar was widened by 0.8 mm, reflectors and license plate added
