To enhance my Makerfarm Prusa i3 printer, I added a TRON-themed knob to my LCD panel. The textured knob allows for smooth and easy operation with just one finger. To achieve the desired color effect, I used the z-pause feature to change colors at specific Z-positions. For printing, I recommend using a .1mm layer height, 15% infill, and two shells. The color changes occur as follows: base color until 4mm, switch to secondary color at 6mm, back to the base color at 8mm, and finally, switch to the secondary color for the final touches. Note that the exact Z-position for the last color change may vary slightly, so keep an eye on the print and change colors when the printer finishes the center of the disc and only has the c-ring and four dots left to print.
