Doggie Door Ideal Pet - 175mm x 320mm medium This is for replacing the teflon hinges and using real hinges to repair the Ideal Pet brand door instead of replacing it. Each panel of the three-panel door has Teflon inserts that wear out in as little as six or eight months depending on sun exposure and usage. This model can be adjusted to fit small spaces, but it can also stretch to any size or half its original size and add two of them on one panel. To assemble this project, you will need a flat head screwdriver and some silicone. Other items required include 1/8 inch rod for the hinge, which needs to be cut to the desired length. Aluminum or brass is preferred, but it can also be found at most Lowe's or Home Depot stores, or ordered from Amazon in a 36-inch length.
