3D printing begins with an innovative concept, making an SLA lightbulb a perfect embodiment of what 3D printing truly represents. The transparent foundation featuring a wavy pattern symbolizes the build chamber of a resin printer, while the bulb itself represents the 'printed object.' In my envisioned representation, this design would be printed with supports, and those supports would remain in place after printing to effectively convey the process of a print being carefully extracted from a vat of resin. The plaque model can be customized with text as desired. The main base is intended for production using MJF technology.
