I'm excited to revive an earlier character I created for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, this time tailored for a non-Magic: The Gathering setting. We've finally arrived at the esteemed Magic College and decided to embark on a thrilling magic carpet ride side quest. As we entered the city, we stumbled upon an area dedicated to flying carpet racing, and my group couldn't resist the opportunity to put our skills to the test. The rules of the competition were clear: racers could utilize magic, but no magic items (excluding the flying carpet itself) would be allowed. I seized the chance to unleash my cunning plan, employing my trusty slime familiar to deliver a precise splash of acid onto another racer's carpet. The element of surprise gave me an initial advantage. However, another competitor soon countered with a spell that left me momentarily blinded. Undeterred, I swiftly recalled my familiar and leveraged its "eyes" to pierce through the darkness. By doing so, I regained my bearings and continued racing, determined to outmaneuver my opponents and emerge victorious.
