Made this as a gag since our university does not specifically forbids concealed knifes, but to be on the safe side I made the knife into a dull rectangular bar that says: "not a knife :)" in comic sans font. I posted this on r/functionalprint and someone asked for me to upload this here. Heed those who will try to make this: it's really poorly designed, tedious to assemble and barely works half of the time. Refer to the parts callouts picture for how the trigger mechanism is assembled. Adding the rubber band in particular is a pain. I going to add detailed instructions later but for now this is the cliftnotes version: -Print one over everything except the rubberbandring.stl which requires 2 -Upper and Lower locks slot into the Bottomcase -Superglue each of the rubberbandring into the blade puller/pusher cut a rubber band into a string, thread it through the rings and knot them into a loop, cut near to the knot as much as possible since the bigger the slack, the more chance it will rub up against the walls of the trigger. -unless your printer is well tuned in bridging, sand the slot in both blade pusher and puller for the paperclip to slide freely -slot in blade pusher and puller to the trigger then place a 1mm dia. paperclip through the two sets of holes and through the pusher or puller part, make sure the rubber band has tension when both paperclips are slotted. -place the trigger assembly in the upper case then the trigger guide cover, place the trigger halfway between it's minimum and maximum resting positions then place in the "not a knife" blade text facing down with the two "tabs" of the pusher/puller between the corresponding slot in the blade -place the bottom cover slowly, place a 2 countersink m3 bolt through the to the holes in the bottom case and nuts in the hexagonal hole in the upper case. don't fully tighten it. -glue the id cover on either the bottom or top cover depending on your dominant hand -glue the parts of the keyring and blade cover together -glue in 4x4x3mm button magnets to the appropriate slots of the case and the lanyard connector -glue in the thumbrest to the exposed part of the trigger. Done!
