I conceptualized this ID card holder from scratch, and its design allows for two standard cards of dimensions 86x54mm to be stored securely within. To insert these cards, users simply slide them into the top opening, whereupon the clips seamlessly latch onto the slot hole, effectively preventing any accidental falling within the upper compartment. For added stability and reinforcement in this critical area, I incorporated a 1mm height stopper. This open card holder design is particularly well-suited for office settings or applications requiring frequent transit of identity cards. Notably, its slim profile boasts an overall thickness of just 5mm, with the backing measuring only 1mm in thickness. For optimal results when printing via 3D technology, I recommend employing a raft and orienting the print according to the longest dimension. Additionally, it's advisable to use a layer thickness of 0.15mm and maintain a slow print speed.
