ID Card Extension Pole

ID Card Extension Pole

The parking garage I frequent has an ID reader that's a bazillion feet away from you at any given moment, so I made this. Simply insert you ID card and extend the pole and you now have about 750mm of extra reach! The tolerances on this are a little tight, so I've included the STEP file should you need to make changes. The threaded portions (Cap, first 12mm of Outer part) like to be printed at 0.1mm. The Middle portion somewhat regrettably requires supports, but not a lot of them. To assemble, align the Inner keyway with the Middle keyway, then the Middle keyway with the Outer keyway. The ID Holder gets glued into the blind hole on the end of the Inner part and requires light supports. Might take some fiddling to get all the parts working smoothly.
