High-quality Icy Moon planet 3D model designed for photorealism. All polygons are quad-based, eliminating issues with seams, poles, and pinching. The model is optimized for subdivisions, allowing it to be finely detailed without performance problems. This is made possible through the use of advanced mesh technology. 8k PBR textures in PNG format cover both metal/rough and spec/gloss workflows. Preview images show renders created using 8k Spec/Gloss textures with V-Ray software. A second set of 4k textures is also included as a separate zip file for added flexibility. Real-world scale is maintained at a precise 1:1 ratio, measured in kilometers. The model can be rendered using both V-ray and Scanline rendering engines. The V-Ray version includes cameras and lights, allowing you to recreate the exact same renders shown in the preview images. For easier management, cameras and lights are located in their own separate layer for simple selection and removal. A 360-degree rotation animation is also included with the model, giving users complete freedom to manipulate and customize it as needed. Users can easily track polycounts during different subdivisions by referencing wireframe preview images. Only a Normal Map was used in creating renders; however, height maps are also provided for those requiring more detailed textures. OpenGL Normal Maps are included separately as separate zip files for maximum compatibility. To minimize download times, all textures have been packaged into individual zip files and made easily accessible by extracting them directly into the same folder as the Max file. Using 4k textures instead of 8k can be done by simply replacing (overwriting) files in the main folder. This ensures seamless compatibility with software requirements. Available texture sets include: - IcyMoon03_textures_Gloss_8k.zip: 6 high-resolution textures, each at 8192x8192px PNG resolution. - IcyMoon03_textures_Gloss_4k.zip: Similar set, but with 4096x4096px PNG resolution. Both versions offer total data storage of approximately 480 MB (6 textures) and 141 MB (6 textures), respectively. Similar texture sets are available in metalic variants, such as IcyMoon03_textures_Metal_8k.zip and IcyMoon03_textures_Metal_4k.zip, which each include a smaller total of 5 maps but maintain higher image resolutions of 8192x8192px PNG or 4096x4096px PNG, respectively. IcyMoon03_textures_Metal_8k.zip and IcyMoon03_textures_Gloss_4k contain BaseColor, Normal, Height, Roughness, and Metallic textures totaling 179 MB and 141 MB of data, while the smaller file sizes make them ideal for rendering performance in V-Ray software. For export compatibility purposes, FBX, OBJ, DAE, and 3DS file formats include an un-subdivided version of the mesh along with all the standard material/textures provided. Keep in mind that actual rendering results might not exactly match those seen on the preview images due to software specific requirements and sometimes manual re-assignation may be required to correct materials or textures as exported by your chosen application.
