I decided to ditch Dropbox and its ilk, opting instead to build my own private cloud using Nextcloud on a snazzy Raspberry Pi 4. To bolster storage, I connected a RAID1 NAS via USB - no sweat, as there are plenty of step-by-step tutorials available online. The real kicker was creating a rock-solid foundation for the PI, which I accomplished by crafting a rugged mount that looks pretty cool to my eyes.
