ICY-BOX IB-2280SSK 8X 2,5 HDD FAN ADAPTER 70MM TO 80MM

<p>The ICY-Box IB-2280SSK is pretty cool to have 8x SFF Drives in a Desktop/Server. The cooling fan however, is pretty noisy.</p> <p>To ensure clearance, I created a 70mm (Icybox) to 80mm fan adapter with an extension, which ensures enough clearance for additional drives in the lower slots of the pc case.</p> <p>You need 8x M3 screws (M3x6 or M3x8 work fine) to attach the fan-adapter and screw on the new fan as well.</p> <p>The model is:<br/> <a href="https://www.raidsonic.de/en/standards/searchresults.php?we_objectID=3091">https://www.raidsonic.de/en/standards/searchresults.php?we\_objectID=3091</a></p> <p>No support for the "adapter2" is required. Just put the larger 80mm side on the print bed.</p> <p>STEP File and Fusion360 Archive included :-)</p> <p>Update: "old_design" was the base of the concept, but it took too long to print and needs support.
